The National Native American Veterans Memorial invites visitors to tie prayer cloths to the four lances surrounding it.
The entire time I stayed at the temple, this man was immersed in his Puja. He was having a 'homh' (prayer with fire burning) for the Devi. It must be a prayer for something or thanks for the granted prayer. His wife was reading the 'paatth' while his children (in western clothes!) were running around playing. He was intense though. And unlike his wife, he did not get distracted by people or my camera.

Outside of the main entrance to the temple at Samye monastery sat this old man whirling his prayer wheel & earning credit for the afterlife.

The posters in the toilets were intended to remind people that the Furnace was there if they wanted space to come and pray. During the festivals, these turned into prayer spaces of their own!
Actually, the man standing on the left looked like he was giving directions to the couple praying below in the Holy River
