Please keep my wife, Mary Jane, in
your prayers. Due to complications
from Diabetes, and infection, all the
bones in her ankle have dissolved
and she is facing amputation of her foot. Just pray for peace, strength,
and comfort from the Lord.
Thanks, Rodger
You fracture me your hands on me
A touch so plain so stale it kills you strangle me
Entangle me in hopelessness and prayers for rain
I deteriorate I live in dirt and nowhere glows
But drearily and tired the hours all spent on killing time again
All waiting for the rain

A prayer flag is a colorful panel of rectangular cloth, often found strung along mountain ridges and peaks high in the Himalayas. They are used to bless the surrounding countryside and for other purposes. Prayer flags are believed to have originated with Bon, which predated Buddhism in Tibet. In Bon, shamanistic Bonpo used primary-colored plain flags in healing ceremonies. They are unknown in other branches of Buddhism. Traditionally they are woodblock-printed with texts and images.
