My dad and I went to the Golf Dome yesterday afternoon to hit some balls (an activity we used to do all the time but have recently forgotten). Its a fun place. You don't have to be good to have a lot of fun here.

Medical Friendly Shelter Full Scale Exercise 2018
The City held a full-scale exercise of the Medically Friendly Shelter (MFS) designed to establish a learning environment for participants to exercise their MFS operational plans.
The exercise served as a practical walk through of planning, operational coordination, operational communication, logistics and supply chain management, public health, healthcare, and emergency medical services
The MFS is only activated for a Category 2 or greater hurricane or as directed by the City Manager. The MFS is for people who, during periods of evacuation or emergency, require sheltering assistance due to physical, mental or cognitive impairment, or a sensory disability that exceeds the basic level of care provided at a general population shelter, but does not require the level of care provided at a skilled medical facility. This includes help with administering medication, personal hygiene assistance with activities of daily living (washing, dressing and eating).

These were purchased at the California Academy of Science. Taken at night; I like how the incandescent light brings out the reds and yellows.
It takes a lot of work.

Bit of practice at the old photoshop for tonights picture. So a bit of time spent making backgrounds and cutting out.
Stars including the No. 1 player in the world Novak Djokovic were out on the practice courts honing their craft at the Western & Southern Open in Cincinnati, Ohio.
I got my new studio lights today. (Elinchrom) and my new light / flash meter (Sekonic). This is the 1´st pictures taken using that equipment. I have to go back to my book (McNally) to get more knowledge of how to control the light, and practice MUCH more. I have 5 photojobs scheduled this spring, all from major Swedish companies. Have to get ready to challange that task. Looking forward to that with horrormixed joy!
