Eesti suurimal tantsu-showcase‘il esinesid DanceAct’i treeningrühmad üle vabariigi. Lavale astus üle 800 tantsija. Seekordne erikülaline oli Tartu Akadeemiline Puhkpilliorkester "Popsid"

Now i know why Grebes fly as little a possible. After 2 weeks i finally got to see one take off and fly. It took half the length of the pond running and flapping like crazy to get airborne, then it circled the pond twice to gain enough altitude.
This was just practice for a young one, also practice for me, their faster than a black duck.
If the minimum shutter speed for birds is 1/1000 of a sec then 1/1500 is a good starting point for these guys, my guess would be closer to 1/4000, my cameras shutter speed doesn't go that high.

The Thursday of a Worlds is a strange sort of day. There is no racing but it seems like you are busier than ever. This is because they close the roads of the Road race circuit to allow the teams to familiarise themselves with it. It also gives us photog's the same chance as it will be our first look at it also. To do this the organisers provide a bus service which will drop us at whatever location on the course we want and pick us up again after the riders are finished. It does mean that you are stuck in the one spot for 3 hours but you get a chance to see all the teams who will be participating over the weekend at all levels. This set contains the great and the good of the cycling world who are here as well as the up and coming guys and gals of each nation.
OOPS!! Running backs are practicing a 7 on 7 scrimmage at the University of Miami practice field. Unfortunately the running back fumbled.
Bohteyr (72) jinalaya Jain temple complex in Kutch - about 50 km from Bhuj, enroute to Mandvi. The octagonal main temple (pictured above) is surrounded by smaller shrines to various Jain deities. Hand-carved in marble, the fully constructed complex is open for visitors but carving of the marble is on-going. Begun in 1982, it will be a while before everything is carved.
Quite a unique opportunity to see marble carving in process rather than the usual finished temples. The craftsmen are from Rajasthan and they are quite proud of their craft and heritage, and very happy to be working on this temple. Preserving local crafts is a critical form of historic preservation because the enduring practice of indigenous trades preserves identity, patriotism, and local economy.
