Selecting a piece of freshly cut Birch tree that had a nice shallow curve to it, I stripped the bark and began making my first cuts using my new carving knife.

The boat is the LADY HAMILTON a 1978 Gurnsey Boat 45 ft Nelson which is MCA Cat B coded for 12 persons + 2 crew up to 60 miles offshore. Lady Hamilton was designed by Arthur Mursell (Nelson and seaward designer) and finished by Liberty Yachts
