Slightly wobbly 3D and half-arsed background as standard. Bonus points for painting the one bit of wall that was impossible to emulsion or get a good photograph of. Least i wasn't up a fucking great ladder all day...

One of the greatest concepts of the Montessori method is the emphasis on practical life skills. Each child helps themselves when it comes to setting the table, serving lunch, and even washing and drying their own dishes after a snack or meal.
I'm hoping there is a washer and dryer in his Lower Elementary class so we can start sending him to school to do his own laundry.

Recently I’ve had a major revelation. When I heard this testimony from Greg Giles, confessing that his new age channeled information was coming from governmental microwave technology known as electronic harassment, I started to question every other new age concept I’d ever come across in my rec...

2017 Long range Renault Zoe EV A practical winner First Drive, That's because Renault has managed to increase the Zoe's range with an impressive 41-kWh battery, called the R90, that gives an official NEDC range of 403 kilometers (250 miles). Sure, the NEDC range is a optimistic fiction concocted by European regulators – something that even Renault admits – but the new Zoe's real-world range should be around 200 km (124 miles) in the winter and 300 km (186 miles) in the summer. ....or why my brain hurts! The bottle on the left is filled with air at the same pressure inside and out at Refugio Amazonas, about 200m ASL. The one on the right was sealed with air at the pressure at Cusco, about 3400m ASL, and then carried down to Refugio Amazonas. The reduced volume gives you some idea of just how much of what you take for granted is missing as you get higher. Simple, but effective demo.

Practical Pete (as ever) was a willing model So Sunday night consisted of a mini photo-shoot, a lamb roast, many beers and some camera fun... good times!
Shot with my Canon 30D, 430EX speedlite, and Sigma 24-70 f/2.8 lens.
