An eye patch is big enough if you don't want to contaminate people. The nose is no threat unless you blow your nose in someones hair:-)
I don't know. This was one that I loved certain parts while I was doing it, but then as a total, not a big fan. Here is the original.

Something different from my usual. They were parked along the road side in the middle of nowhere, so I couldn't resist.

Not practical for the beach i know but when the young family who own this scooter turned up at the beach the 2 youngsters wasted no time in leaving it at the top of the steps and get down on the beach and playing with the rocks, stones and what ever had washed up ........a lovely site to see........Slapton Sands, Torcross, South Hams, Devon ,England
So sometimes the best logical route is practical... magik.

Climbing up the 0.5% grade at South End Trammel, manifest M69318 is only moments away from entering the Sandy Ridge Tunnel. The single digit AC44 was a nice leader, as most are slated for rebuild in the CM44 program.
The siding at Trammel is one many siding that have been removed along the former Clinchfield main in recent years. Coming in at 3,691ft, Trammel no longer served a practical purpose in today's world of longer and heavier trains. With all remnants of the siding gone except for the ballast and signals, it serves as just another sign of the ever changing landscape of the modern world of railroading.

The UFS Academy, or UFSA, is the primary training facility for UFS personnel. The time they spend with the Academy is seen by many to be one of the best and most fulfilling experiences UFS has to offer. Once graduated from the Academy, cadets are eligible to be commissioned as officers or enlisted in UFS.
UFS Academy also offers a wide and ever-growing curriculum of classes and fields of studies for the further education of all officers - from Ensigns to Admirals.
In my opinion, United Federation Starfleet’s Academy features over 240 well written classes by its members. These classes are well organised and curated into branch and career tracks with self learning, practical and roleplayed classes. A perfect resource for the Star Trek fan! I certainly enjoyed reading up on my favourite topics - flying a starship, its propulsion systems and ship resource management.

Well Saturday was fun! Wind and sunshine on the north coast of Cornwall made for a promising afternoon and with cameras in bags, Lee and I set off on the long journey up north to Bedruthan and then Trevose. Ok, long journey north might be stretching it, but it took a while to end up here anyway.
We arrived here at low tide, believe it or not, and the sea was frothing away happily as we each headed for sheltered nooks on the small isthmus opposite the lighthouse. Arguably it's a one shot location, but on the handful of occasions we've ventured here the conditions have been different. This time, the sun was casting a lovely colour onto the lighthouse and the cauldron below us, and the 6 stop filter which had been sitting on my lens all day was having a lovely time producing exposure times of 1 - 2 seconds. Keeping the lens clear of seaspray was a bit of a job though.
One day we'll head here when it's positively biblical. I keep saying that though.........
This blue Jay has learned to add the peanut last. Last year I watched a young jay grab the peanut first, which opened his beak too wide. He tried again and again to grab some more nuts but couldn't close his beak on them. It was hilarious.

Allow me, please, just a few words about the spot where this picture was taken.
Faliron Delta is actually the southern tip of the city of Athens and the place where the city meets the sea. As a spot of great environmental importance, it was one of the very few sites close to Athens without major constructions and buildings at the seafront. It was and still is important for the city air circulation and the renewal of the air through the sea breeze which could reach the city and its inhabitants without being obstructed. It was also important for the migrating birds which stopped at this very site on their way from the European North to the South and Africa.
Unfortunately, this huge free space was chosen as a site for the building of several courts, stadiums, buildings, marinas and general infrastructure for the occasion of the 2004 Olympic Games. The result was a big and quite violent intervention in Nature. An intervention which was only practical during the Olympics... The buildings, the stadiums and the infrastructure have not actually been used since the Olympics and only stand deserted as a monument to human shortsightedness.
There still remains free space however... although one does not see anymore the number and kind of migrating birds that used to stop there and take a break...

Standing outside this century old barn, I looked up to see an aircraft flying overhead and thought of how far we'd come. The barn featured a unique swing beam construction that allowed a team of horses, hitched to a wagon, to turn around without having to back up. Horses apparently don't like to walk backwards so this made life easier for farmer and animal alike. When you compare that marvel of practical engineering to the complexity of the plane, it seems there are no limits to what we can accomplish.
Original started as a micro spaceship, I felt it needed some minifigs to help bring it to life and to play with the sense of scale.
I'd never have got this stuff into the Corsa, and the Applause has otherwise proved to be an extremely useful vehicle, thereby more than earning it's keep, as the saying goes.
Can't wait for season 2 of The Mandalorian.
I've been playing around with creating laser blasts in camera and enjoying the challenge. This blasts in this shot were done with a green LEGO piece, a black light, and some light stencils. Super happy with the results.
What do you think?
I had been wanting to put together this shot for a while, just need to build the scenery. Everything done with in camera effects. Bonus points to anyone who can guess what the furnace is :)
