Banquise and La Belle Province

@ Wayfare Tavern (a Tyler Florence restaurant!)

This was outside, but it sure felt like I was inside. This was at Montreal Poutine, where I had one of the greatest poutines, ever.

Don't order this at Pearson Airport, unless you really, really miss this Canadian delecacy.

you can't leave Quebec without trying it...

so much more delicious than it looks

I seem to be having a good time with the poutine. My sister looks cranky...I guess there wasn't any steak tartare and arugala...

Sweet potato hand cut fries, foie gras gravy, cheese curd

A Hong Kong classic - gravy and cheese curds on fries. We got this at the top of the tram mostly out of the humor of getting such a non-asian food. The establishment was called New York Fries - home of the classic New York French Fry. I was not aware that NY was home to this kind of famous fried spud, but I didn't dispute it. The gravy fries were tasty.
