Happy New Year to you all!
I'm pleased we made it to 2013 without the world ending.
Another image from my attempts at capturing water droplets. I used coloured straws for the backdrop this time and applied a colour negative filter in processing. To my eye I envisage a neon landscape within the droplet, a post apocalyptic seascape if you like.

Day 111/365 - final post to this group
Just wanted to let you know that I will discontinue posting to the one-photo-each-day group. Just not finding the time to do it justice. I really enjoying viewing the photos of other members here, it's a cheerful group with some very talented photographers. I'll continue to look in and admire your entries from around the globe and no doubt catch up with some of you in other groups as well. Best regards, thanks for your comments and faves along the way.
My last post on FLICKR - 200 free quotas is over and would be back once I can get a prof a/c

The Royal Mail post box on Chithurst Lane near Midhurst in West Sussex.
There are five "exciting" things to see in Chithurst and they're all within spitting distance of one another. The river... the bridge... the manor... the church and the post box.
Never a dull moment here.

For the duration of Biennale 2019, Post hoc transmits an electronic reading of millions of lost, invisible and extinct entities. The lists are announced from an echo-free chamber located in one wing of Palazzina Canonica. From the chamber the words are transmitted to several six-metre tall tree cell towers. Line by line, the vast lexicon of the bygone can be heard in proximity to each tree, where the lists can also be streamed on a handheld device.
The enormous scale of Post hoc is only visible at the emptied library located on the second floor of the Palazzina, where the lists are being printed in sync with the broadcasts. Even here, the printed contents become increasingly difficult to view as the paper unfurls about the space over time.

Welcome the amazing [Onyx] store as my new sponsor
another fantastic Friday with this male Osprey, he is so chilled, just sits about preening & stretching...
Shot a lovely wedding in Virginia Beach followed by their "couple's:" portrait session down at Sandbridge.
And whenever you're down at Sandbridge, you don't let sunsets go to waste. Even if they're just so so like it was this night. The better colors were to the east this night.

While walking around looking for strangers on Brick Lane, I spotted two guys and a painting checking out the railing on a bridge. I wondered what they were up to in a disinterested sort of a way and moved on focused on my own mission. Later while sussing out a spot that was a likely background, I saw one of them climbing up the pole of a street sign and planting the sign. They were quite furtive and gave off an air that they were up to mischief. Sure enough, once the sign was placed, they took a couple of photo's, shook hands and headed off. Clearly some sort of a urban terrorist art project, It looked pretty cool to me!
