Light Post, Japan

 

Well !! many of you might be wondering what the hell this is ? Actually this is nothing but a light post in the middle of a bus stand near Mount Fuji, Japan. The bus stopped for 15 min for a break and I wondered in the market enjoying the area. It was a beautiful , cold morning and the structure caught my eyes, beautiful clouds in the background.....well !! the next part of the story is here.....

Yesterday (4-Dec-2017) was a supermoon. Unfortunately it was totally overcast, so this is a shot of the moon tonight, with a little cloud in the foreground for effect..

While the general population are no longer sending Christmas cards in the same quantities as before, children are still writing letters to Santa.

Our local post office has helpfully provided a Santa approved post box for them to use.

England at the World Showcase, Epcot center, Disney World.

 

I took this shot after the illuminations (fireworks) show at the Epcot center. I waited until most of the crowd left but still had people walking through my photos. This is why I love long exposures. The photobombers are nowhere to be seen!

 

7 exposure HDR processed in Lightroom and the Nik apps. I purposely wanted to give it a sort of magical looks. After all, it IS Disney right?
