Our twenty-sixth entry to our Iron Builder with Siercon and Coral.

The world is at an end. After the terrible nuclear war, the surface above became inhospitable.

This forced millions underground into cave systems, sewer tunnels, and large basements where people wait out the awful radiation above..

Welcome to the Post Apocalypse.

Definitely not our usual. ;)

been asked to post this one by the lovely Cindy who saw it posted elsewhere.

nice outfit to wear this was just a little chilly for the walk back home in the evening.

mind you wouldn't have been very good to wear today what with all the rain we have had.

off on my holiday on Tuesday so possibly won't get much posted during that time, however I always say that and still carry carry on as normal

Fresno, Ca

Shots of this amazing signage have been posted by me and other photographers, previously. It was the last sign to shoot for me while visiting Fresno that day. I felt it was appropriate to end the day with my own take of this sign. I felt sad to leave all of the signs I shot but it was time to shove off. Then the sun went down...

Hi everyone -- I just released a collection of fall images on my website (www.michaelbollino.com/recentwork). Included is this image of late fall color and badlands in southern Utah bathed in post sunset glow, one of my favorite times of the day to photograph larger scenes in the desert. Hope you enjoy the image and full collection. Cheers!

Poor Mojo had an emergency operation today to fix hernias, his diaphragm had ruptured in two places and his guts and stomach were poking out through the holes.

Relaxing after 9 holes on a very windy afternoon!

Our house is an easy three-block

stroll from the ocean. Perfectly situated for a quick walk on the beach, close to restaurants and coffee shops and an easy drive to the outlets.

Wherever and however we all spent our days, it was always wonderful to come "home", see each other and talk about our outings, enjoy a drink and snacks on the porch, and watch the world go by. There's precious little opportunity for that kind of relaxed pace in my everyday life, so occasions like this take on a very special meaning.

Syros, Azolimnos I 03.05.2016

Awhile back I was challenged to do a painting of a post-apocalyptic Seattle. Instead of doing the very typical zombies and war torn landscape, I went a different route and imagined what it would be like to do a prettier and more serene image. With Seattle being in an earthquake and volcanic zone, I figured it would more likely sink into the ocean than get ravaged by zombies. Here we have the same painting with and without text overlays. Your questions and comments are always welcome. Enjoy.

This one was crazy… hahaha

I made a post on my blog about the setup for this in case anyone is interested. The link is here: julianalauletta.wordpress.com/2014/04/27/heartburn/

I burned the whole box of matches… the big one with 240. The result was that I got intoxicated with the smoke and learned that sometimes you cannot do everything on your own. hahaha I laughed so hard of myself trying to set and control the fire with one hand, pressing the shutter with the other hand and trying to illuminate the background with a tiny LED flashlight on my mouth. hahahaha

It turned out completely different from what I had in mind but I kind of like the final result. After all that smoke I better like this…. hahahaha

This one is part of my "Lost in Translation" series... For those of you that don't know the idea for the series is to take conceptual photos (my favorites) playing with the meaning of some expressions/words in the English language.

I would love to know what you think. =D

I found it hard to decide between the two but my husband liked this one best because of the contrast between the metal and the splintery wood so this is what I went with.

Haven't been on PMG for a while now, so I decided to have a go.
