Found in a charity shop bag. A set of post-it notes for "forgetful brides". Possibly the vilest thing I've seen in a long while.

The drawing is a little rough around the edges but it is a glass mug with a modern design to it.

I hope you like it.

Today's inspiration for 30 Days of Creativity is the color blue.

So naturally, I started listening to Joni Mitchell's Blue album. A personal favorite!

Which naturally led to my decision to create some illustrated lines from the title track "Blue" using Post It notes, my wall and a bright blue marker.

I called up my mom for her orange roughy recipe. "What orange roughy recipe?" she said. Turns out, it's just her generic white fish fillet recipe: "Real simple. You just poach the fillets in a white wine sauce."

"Poached? ¿Qué?" I asked. We laughed at my cooking ineptitude. "Should I look that up in the dictionary then?" Heh. Poaching turns out to mean, put food in boiling liquid and ignore simmering until cooked. I can do that!

I thought I had some white wine, but I didn't. I substituted sherry (the good stuff, too, alas; couldn't find my cooking sherry). It was still yummy, so it looks like substituting sherry for white wine caused no harm.

From 28 January to 1 February, GDS organised Services Week, a nationwide, cross-government event including presentations, workshops, remote talks, and training.
