I am trying to not be too busy to become complacent. I want to add things of beauty to our home. I work from home, so it takes extra effort to add a sense of beauty... after one day, the other Slice of LIfe photos have inspired me to take more time to create a lovely home.

A couple important changes to be aware of from last year. FIAT is going to be giving away a car to a randomly chosen participant this year. Also to be eligible to win you need to make a new post. You don't have to shoot it today. It can be one you already have on your account. But to be eligible to win the car you need to post it during the event.

Sorry I've kinda used flickr as dumping ground for each edit I do with this photo but It's a learning process.
I find I'm definitely not negative enough about my photos lol. Apparently someone said it looked like she was flipping me off, or her hand was a "claw", then the comments about the bright red nail polish...Gah. It was either dull the polish or crop her hand, I just went with the crop due to the "Claw" comment. (should I crop it the whole way? bah...)

Posting one or two from archives, as I'm having a bit of a reorganize.
It has more impact larger and I like the light on the sea. I keep wondering whether I should always include these frames. Food for thought.
