It's that time of year again. The annual Festival of the Arts kicked off today in downtown OKC. We go for the food and my favorite is the porkchop on a stick. It actually has a frou-frou name like applewood smoked fried pork tenderloin with some sort of apricot chutney sauce. We call it porkchop on a stick.
Our boneless pork chops are marinated in a seasoned buttermilk mixture to moisten and sweeten and then sprinkled with crunchy pecans and crispy bread crumbs. Served with our fluffy garlic mashed potatoes for the perfect end to a busy day.
