Poor Rambo has a sore cheek, Im really hoping its just an infected cheek pouch, Bob is really upset, Im calling vets today, she's eating well and eyes are bright so thats a good sign, fingers crossed this little girl just needs her cheek flushed and some antibiotics
I dont know if you can see but this little one's forehead was pretty injured from probably trying to get out of somewhere. We took her home and she is in a foster home recovering
I wish i could bring 'er inside to warm up. We've have 50 mph gusts for the last couple of days. The snow isn't really this deep everywhere. But the drifts are very deep!
I always wondered why so many amateurs are always talking about sanding to these stupid high grits which (in point of fact) reduce the ability of the finish to stick to the guitar. Then it occured to me, they just don't know how to sand. Sanding to a too high grit will give you a look that isn't too bad, but it will never replace proper technique. This is what it looks like if you sand it wrong. Here I just sanded the long direction of the side, and as you can see, it isn't right. These two picture are both done with 100 grit sandpaper, by the way. Actually, when I did this one I had already gotten it right, and I messed it up just for this picture.
some pictures of our cats i took last winter for a "kitty calendar" (or cattendar :p) that i gave to my parents for christmas.
(ever tried to took good pictures of cats with manual lens, wide aperture, poor light and a little time? it's a step to total madness)
she's alice, but we call her 'gnicca' or mrs. gnicca.
she's the oldest of our cats (10 years old), and she's the dearest thing i have on earth. better, she's not a thing. she's the strongest and purest love i ever had. she's my shadow, my mate, she loves me without compromises and she is with me no matter what i do or how i feel.
she's the one i got tatooed on my back.
i'm scared seeing how quickly she's growing old.
i can't imagine a life without her.
there's nothing on earth thar can love you deeply and sincerely as an animal. an animal gives all the love that he can give, asking anything but love. and it's just perfect.
She seems to be feeling better with pain meds and steroids. She wagged her tail for the first time in 3 weeks this past weekend.
I'm not sure that I agree with the quotation. Whilst it is possible to be poor and wise, it is also possible to be wealthy and wise. I'd prefer to be the latter!
I was poor when I was young. But I worked hard and now I am no longer young.

I rescued this poor Mater plushie...you can see that he's missing his two front teeth, and some of his other parts are loose/hanging by seams...but otherwise, he's in perfect condition.
...Seriously, who just RIPS the teeth off a Mater plushie? >.<
