Oh, man. Today I found out that you can create a poor man's macro lens by just... turning your ordinary lens around. My heart skipped a thousand beats! Unfortunately, with my Canon Rebel XT, the lens is too large to attach backwards to the body. However, I tried just physically holding the lens against the body to give it a whirl, and it kind of sort of worked! The only problem is the camera is very unstable with one hand steadying it and the other pushing the lens against the body, so there is quite a bit of blur in the first few photos I took before my battery died. Nonetheless, I am really excited about experimenting further with this technique and still think they turned out kind of pretty in the end. Macro makes everything beautiful.

Misty has split a toe nail on her back leg and its very sore. Misty is a funny little muffin and isnt very sooky - unless something is wrong.
