More Arrowheads. Most probably from Lone Pine Golf Course in Lagonda. I worked with my Dad from the age of five, as he installed drainage pipe all over the property when it was still a Whiteface Hereford Cattle Farm. My job was to take the terracotta tile pipe off the hay wagon and set it beside the ditch my Dad was digging with a backhoe. I'd kick through the pile of dirt and would come home with an arrowhead, or at least a piece, almost every night. Glad I saved them. 1960's.

For a few weeks in Spring and Autumn each year Redditch often looks glorious, as right now in this image taken in a supermarket car park. The Poplars and Field Maples are having their day, and since there are at least 20 trees per inhabitant, it can be a day indeed.

Situated on the chord connecting the Marches and Birmingham lines, avoiding Shrewsbury Station, probably not witnessed by too many as it can only be seen from the business park tucked away in between the lines. 18.2.12
