The visit included a stop at the Timbrook Public Safety Building where the Winchester Police Department and other public safety officials, including a VDF liaison officer, monitored festival activities. I took this photo at the Trolley station in Downtown San Diego a couple days ago. The main reason why I'm uploading this is because I've been getting kind of bored with my flickr lately. All I ever upload are concert shots and I feel like it's time for something different.
In order for me to take this photo I got on the floor, while everyone around stared at me. I manually focused my lens so my camera wouldn't try to focus on the ground directly in front of it. I really liked the result of this and i absolutely love how the vanishing point is in the middle of the frame, not sticking to the rule of thirds.

Syrens of the South presented two shows the 7th Annual 'Tits for Toys for Tots' at 7 Stages in Little Five Points. These images are from the 11 pm show. More than 300 gifts were donated by patrons for Toys for Tots.

Five Points (or The Five Points) was a notorious slum centered on the intersection of Worth St. (originally Anthony St.), Baxter St. (originally Orange St.) and a now demolished stretch of Mosco St. (formerly Park St., formerly Cross St.), and the eastern corner of a public park called “Paradise Square”, on Manhattan island, New York City, New York, in the United States. The name Five Points derived from the five corners at this intersection.
