The opening night of Pointless Theatre Company's "A Very Pointless Holiday" in the Flashpoint Gallery.
I got back to the flat and discovered a large Amazon package in front of the flat door (1 month's worth of cat food). I squeezed past it, hauled it into the flat, and found we'd been left a Missed Delivery card, which simply had the flat adress (edited out of the photo) and a safe place "at door".
Well, not *entirely* pointless. It made me laugh anyway.

This is on the opposite side of the road and does actually serve a purpose by taking a cyclist, dog-walker or other lover (through another 'gate') of the countryside to Newcraighall.
Again, had they simply maintained the overgrown weeds, bushes, etc., then they wouldn't have needed to have taken over a fortnight to lay some paving.
Oh, and if the Council should happen upon this? The idea of "Bag it & bin it" is to be commended - but for the fact that in the whole of Gilberstoun Estate, there's precisely one bucket (on the very edge of the estate, opposite the disabled exit from the train station at Brunstane).

Hey Klaus, I have zis krazy idea already. Let's take the last set of chairs for the airport and screw them to the wall instead of the floor. That way all the people that have nowhere to sit can stand under them instead. Very ironic. Super kool.
In the city that gave us Mozart, this is what passes for art nowadays.
This could mean a lot of things. e.g. life, this word on the wall itself, etc.
