This week's theme was: P is for Pointless
It probably was rather pointless raking up the leaves yesterday because as you can see, the hazel hasn't shed its leaves yet. However, it was a fine and dry day, so I thought I'd remove the ones that had already fallen, even though I'll have to do it again before too long.

I put a stereo in my kitchen. There are many variables involved but primarily this is the result of boredom and insomnia. I've already wired cables to speakers in the kitchen from a better stereo with a better turntable with a cartridge with a newer needle.
There's also a lingering variable involved. I have no practical use for this specific turntable yet I can't stand the thought of it going unused; it's a solid wheel of steel (diecast aluminum, technically) that works perfectly.
I'm eventually going to get a DJ mixer so I can utilize more than one turntable at a time. I don't want to cheap out on that part so I'll have to save up for a while. In the meantime owning this thing is driving me further neurotic.
