This was made for my work. They broke us all up into college mascot themed groups. Naturally, I was the Cal State golden bear that's wrecking the pimp.

Highlight of our trip.

Our whale watching two hour tour was seeing the usual, whakle at a great distance, coing up for air and disappearing just as you located them. Then the incredible happened. A pod of orcas approached our boat head on, five or 6 abreast. The passed the boat quickly, then they returned to sim along side the boat for a good half hour. Diving under it and coming up on the other side. Putting on a real show for us.

Our tour guide had his camera out...and when that happens you know you are skiing something special. We stayed out an hour longer than scheduled to enjoy this unexpected treat.

The orcas were in te area to feed on the fish which were very plentiful.

2 of a kind, our daily challenge

Necklace entered into Art Bead Scene's January challenge. This is inspired by a painting called Brown River by Wayne Thiebaud. Dark brown polymer clay pods were formed and baked, then filled with contrasting clay pieces which are embedded with seed beads. Beaded clay is made of translucent and colored clay mixed with copper leaf pieces. Original design by me.
