I caught the free-diving bug.
Free diving is a sport with many facets and variations. The purest form is where one dives as deep as possible and ascends back to the surface under one's own power...on one breath of air. It is a sport that requires physical as well as mental discipline. With purity comes risk, but the rewards of freedom from cumbersome gear is hard to describe. I'm just beginning to scratch the surface of this sport, but I can already see the appeal...I'll be obsessed in no time, I'm sure.
Right now, I have a book from Amazon.com and the 6-feet-deep pool in my townhouse complex. But, by the time the pool closes in 1 1/2 months, I'm determined to be ready for 2 minutes and 60 feet, as well as a mentor/coach (not the easiest thing to find in the suburbs of New Jersey!).

It was surprising to see a milkweed plant growing on the sandy beach in the Rotary Park in Wellington. The pod has opened and the little parachutes carrying precious seeds are ready for take off!

Over a year after blooming these pod have finally burst to release seeds. Just above this pod is a new set of blooms.

La Facultad de Derecho y Ciencias Sociales de la BenemĆ©rita Universidad AutĆ³noma de Puebla āBUAP-, obtuvo el primer lugar del concurso Estatal Universitario de LitigaciĆ³n Oral convocado por la ComisiĆ³n Nacional de Tribunales Superiores de Justicia āCONATRIB-, en enfrentamiento con la Universidad de las AmĆ©ricas Puebla āUDLAP- que calificĆ³ en segundo sitio.
Al informar lo anterior el Licenciado Leonardo Israel Esquivel, quien tuvo bajo su responsiva la etapa estatal convocada por el Instituto de Estudios Judiciales del Poder Judicial, mencionĆ³ que como se indica en la convocatoria, los ganadores recibieron los premios a que se hicieron acreedores.
El tercer lugar en este concurso lo obtuvo la Universidad Iberoamericana, Campus Puebla.
La etapa estatal del concurso universitario nacional de litigaciĆ³n oral, se llevĆ³ a cabo en la Sala de Audiencias de EjecuciĆ³n de Sanciones y Medidas de Seguridad del Poder Judicial, ubicada en la explanada del Centro de ReinserciĆ³n Social de San Miguel.
El propĆ³sito fundamental de la CONATRIB, al llevar a efecto este certamen nacional, consiste en la bĆŗsqueda del mejoramiento de la administraciĆ³n de justicia, apoyar la investigaciĆ³n, la docencia, la difusiĆ³n de la cultura jurĆdica y la Ć©tica judicial.
El Concurso Nacional es de carĆ”cter universitario y estĆ” encaminado a la puesta en prĆ”ctica de conocimientos sobre el Sistema Penal Acusatorio en el Marco de la Reforma Constitucional del Sistema de Justicia penal, a travĆ©s de la simulaciĆ³n de audiencias orales.

Ran across a large pod of dolphins while out kayaking in Fannin Bayou. I guess they thought we would feed them because they sure were friendly, one even nudged my kayak and others splashed us. Unfortunately my old camera that I take kayaking was acting up so really didn't get many good photos of them.

OK, its a bit strange. A free standing pod is located in the room. My collegues found the absence of a door on the cleaning end of the pod unsettling. Not sure why, no one else was there.
This isn't a hotel to stay at if you are at an early stage of the relationship... or you have smelly poo. Just sayin' like!
A little over a week ago, I was brought out to Vegas to work Rock Vegas Fest. I was orgianlly supposed to just be doing VIP photos, Well...Yeah i ended up doing way more(witch i am used to since i always try and help out as much as I can) I was shooting for loudwire, helping VIP guests, as well as taking there picture. I ended up working VIP the rest of the weekend, and was still able to shoot a little bit of the show, and get the photos i needed for the website to fufill our VIP packages. 17 hour days...do work. Hope it turns into a carrer. Anyways here are some photos, enjoy!
