I've known for a long time that Christian is incredible. Some days (like today), I learn just how incredible...
I spent the day shooting photos at a junior wheelchair track and field meet. The energy of dozens of volunteers and families made the day possible. For a few of my "littler" friends, this was their first competition. For some of the older athletes, this was but a stepping stone to international competition.
I didn't know all the rules, but that's often the case when I watch sports. I enjoyed the day immensely...so much so that I didn't realize that was being sunburnt to the shade of a cooked lobster. I thank everyone for the inspiring day...I have only myself to thank for the sunburn.
I hadnt been to Santa Pod before. Yesterday's racing was washed out. The overcast skies today helped reduce difficult contrast, even if they did make some of the faster starts harder for the drivers.

bought a tote and got a voucher for a free 20 min Sleep Pod trial. it was kinda interesting sinking into the high tech cocoon. the semi hemisphere swings around to enclose and the interior lights dim and you don BOSE noise cancelling headphones with low volume smooooothing music for your speed nap.
was a fun peek but couldn't take it too seriously eventhough am a great believer of mini siestas after lunch.
would have been nicer if the pods weren't exposed to the muzak from the shop floor nearby (no dividing wall).

BEST PIEROGI EVER!
Without doubt one of the top restaurants in Cracow, and with a whole raft of awards to prove it, Pod Aniolami (Under the Angels) is famous for its marinated meats, cooked on an elm wood-fired grill, as well as other traditional specialities. The restaurant can be found along the "Royal Way" leading from Wawel Castle to the Rynek (Market Square), in a splendid 13th Century building. It's genuine Old Cracow, with its own medieval courtyard with a mosaic-encrusted fountain to prove it.
