Playfully asymmetric, the Pod is the perfect haven for lounging after a mischievous day. Individually hand crafted in Canada from wool, bamboo and organic cotton.
Measures: 46cm diameter x 16cm, (approximately 18” x 6.25”) A portion of the proceeds from the sale of every cat bed goes to the Vancouver Orphaned Kitten Rescue Association
These pods are up to 12 inches long and they can weigh almost 3 pounds. I got this at a rare wood place years ago and had no idea what they were used for until I saw one turned into a vase.

Delighthing minds
with my shadow
Rely on your way to grow
You want to decide
from your cloud
You're lost in a world
that I have to repair
You want it all
the greatest smile
Who wants to deny forever?
You're made of ice
I pay the price
for all you unforgiveness
Enlighting lies
with my shame
Beneath the veil
of your flow
Don't try to deny
with your mouth
So fine it is knowing
you're under the shade
The custom POD made for Kid Rock was done back in the day when he was known for using the American Flag.

I gathered these seed pods and scanned them, then used Photoshop to turn the scan into a silhouette of the shapes. I used them as a stencil for etching glass with a sandblaster. I thought I'd make the template available for general use. If you use all or part of this image please drop me a line with a link so I can see what you've done with it.
Fabulous pod just laying on the ground. The seeds are so vivid.
The structure of the pod is so well designed.

Pod had a successful tour business in Khao Lak, Thailand. He would act as a guide to tourists who wished to experience the natural beauty of the National Parks, whilst his wife would run the agency and take bookings. They had a young son, and Pod’s wife was 5 months pregnant with their second child.
This particular day he left home as usual, the weather was fine, and he was leading a group on an excursion into Khao Sok National Park...........
