Today and tomorrow we have Professional Development at school, and one of the first activities this morning was taking the Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument. There are thirty pairs of statements and you have to choose what you're more likely to do in the situation. Based on those responses, you end up 'fitting in' to one of the five conflict modes.
I am going to try to do a photo for each this week.
First up on the list is:
Competing is assertive and uncooperative -- an individual pursues his own concerns at the other person's expense. This is a power-oriented mode in which you use whatever power seems appropriate to win your own position -- your ability to argue, your rank, or economic sanctions. Competing means "standing up for your rights," defending a position which you believe is correct, or simply trying to win.
Twelve of my 30 responses fit into this category.

I haven't bought a new one of these since the first gen Kindle Fire circa 2011 because I've always had an iPad Mini or a Surface or some other device that did mostly the same thing.
Since 2020 has been the year of staying at home, I figured I'd give a new one of these a go as a standalone media device.

I also have toor dhal, green lentils, black lentils, dried butter beans, semolina, wild rice large soya chunks cous cous, quinoa both red and white, big sprouts, bulgar wheat, popcorn, dried chickpeas, small sprouts, dried chinese mushroom strips mini pasta letters, sesame seeds and spaghetti. I also have a spice rack but I'll go in to that another time.
These are just my shelf jars :) I love my kitchen.
