Castillo is a specialist on the cuatro, a 10-string Puerto Rican guitar.
The title refers to the jibaro, the country-folk of the inland mountains whose way of life, clothing and music is an important symbol for Puerto Ricans.

Another from my seires of wolf shots taken near Savage River. Like all of the ones with the black wolf, it is the eyes that draw me in.
I first thought I liked the one with the wolfs head just in the shot over this one (Savage River #3), however, upon review I'm not so sure.

Hi everyone, I have a very important news to give you guys, a good and a bad .. the good news is that I'm PREGNANT!!! Yay!! .. and the bad one is that every pregnancy comes with much nausea, dizziness, anxiety :( ... some things not so good
So because of these symptoms, I am having difficulties to be able to blog regularly as I do, I have to slow down and post less .. I'm not saying that I'll stop, because I love blogging.. but will be less posts per week until the end of pregnancy.
I hope you all understand me, I will not stop posting, but i will not be here so often as before until the arrival of my little baby!!! ♥

A forecast of 15 cm snow in the west coast on Jan 11, 2011.
It started to snow at around 20:00 and when I arrived home this morning (0530 hrs Jan 12, 2011), it was still snowing. I am sure lots of people will take a day off, however, my co-workers are still on shift making sure the system is running. My salutation to them.
Not one of the most beautiful looking bird, the shot of Marabou was captured during my last visit to Masai Mara,Oct 2013 surround by a flock of Vultures.These birds are scavengers and will fight to feed over a carcass of an animal found on the plains hence helping to keep the place clean and leaving the bones to dissolve into the soil.

New picture, haha. I was dissatisfied with the last one, so I went for a more "passionate" pose. You can't see the guy's face, and hopefully that won't hurt in the competition, but I like how Irina turned out.
Last time I checked...the pose was frankied out of 14 different images.

Liberated by the Allies in late 1944, Bastogne was attacked by German forces shortly after. Hitler was, again, looking for control of the Ardennes. The goal was to advance to Antwerp, to cut off supply and separate British from American troops. On December 16, taking advantage of the cold and the fog, the German artillery started the so-called Battle of the Bulge by attacking the sparsely deployed American troops around Bastogne. A few days later, Brigadier General McAuliffe and the 101st Airborne Division along with elements of the 10th Armored Division (United States and the 82nd airborne arrived to counter-attack but, after heavy fighting, became encircled within the town. On December 22, German emissaries asked for the American surrender, to which the General answered quite briefly, “Nuts!” The next day, the weather cleared up, allowing air retaliation and the parachuting of much needed food, medicine, and weaponry. On December 26, troops under the command of General Patton broke the deadlock. The official end of the Battle of Bastogne only occurred three weeks later, when all fighting finally stopped.
