This Northern Mockingbird landed right in front of me and posed in perfect light. I was actually worried that it was too close for the lens to focus. Taken at Exton Park.

On this site the original St. Paul’s Anglican Church that was consecrated on August 10, 1853. The original church was hit by lightning and destroyed in 1942. This church was rebuilt in one year and debt free. It was opened for worship on November 17. 1943.
In 1868 St. Paul’s welcomed their first resident Priest, the Rev. W. Ancient, who is remembered for his valiant effort in the rescue of passengers of the S.S. Atlantic. Many of the dead are buried in the St. Paul’s Cemetery and in the Star of the Sea, Roman Catholic Cemetery.

Fog had retreated when I arrived here but still not far away.
In 2000 the lighthouse was purchased by the Region of Queens Municipality on behalf of the Medway Area Communities Association and was removed from the list of endangered lighthouses.

When we went back home, 2 kingfishers lied down in front of a large glass window. I know they are dead, but my son thought they just conk out. So he said "Please wake up and fly!" many times over...

For R~, the Butterfly King.
Taken today at Butterfly World. I wish I could portray more of the wonderful wing action on this beauty. It had the most beautiful red spots on the wings and on the inside of the right wing, you'll see the yellow pollen stains.
I was quite surprised at how bright all the colours are but then everything inside the butterfly sanctuary is controlled to be perfect tropical conditions.

The stained-glass windows are the work of Enrico Leone Donati, an artist from Zürich.
The Church of St. Maurice was built in 1867 and renovated in 1972/73.. Below the Parish Church is a chapel built into the rocks.

First light was established here in 1873 and was a wooden structure. The original Robertson Point Lighthouse has been replaced by a cylindrical tower topped by a red light.

Focal Height: 12.3 meters (40.35ft) above water level
Light: red flash every 4 seconds
