Saint Barbara Church in Barnbach.
The church of Saint Barbara (patron of miners) originally was built in 1948-1953, in Bärnbach, Styria. Later in 1987 on the initiative of Father Friedrich Zeck and the active support of Mayor Conrad Bergmann the church was redesigned under the project of the famous artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser, who together with architect Manfred Fuchsbichler created a unique and joyful masterpiece.

Outside of city hall was a statue of Abraham Lincoln (February 12, 1809 – April 15, 1865). He was the 16th President of the United States, serving from March 1861 until his assassination in April 1865. Lincoln led the United States through its Civil War, its bloodiest war and its greatest moral, constitutional, and political crisis.
In doing so, he preserved the Union, abolished slavery, strengthened the federal government, and modernized the economy.

I would like to inform you that I'm moving permanently to Europe at the end of the month.
This means that all of the heads for the upcoming faceup slots shall be shipped to Europe, and will be shipped back from Europe.
I understand that it will probably be much better for all of you guys living in Europe, but not so much for my American peeps.
I will not be limiting the amount of heads you can send at one time. I do understand that you need to make it worthwhile regarding the shipping cost, so this is totally fine by me. As long as you get a slot, you can send over as many heads as you wish. <3
I will not be switching the prices to euros just yet. So you will keep paying in dollars until I'm settled down in Europe. I will then switch to euros over the next few months.
Thank you for reading, and I'm looking forward to bringing your dollies to life in my new place. <3

About this Photo: Winter scene taken in the Mayfield Wetland in Mayfield Village, Ohio in the late afternoon February sun. About 30 inches of snow was covering the wetland with drifts in places as deep as 40-50 inches. This is an HDR created in Photomatix using three photos set at -1, 0 and +1.
Please feel free to use my photos for non comercial uses, but don´t forget to mention the author and, if posible, to put a link to my gallery! Thanks.
I know some parts of the country and have had their fill (and overfill) of rain but we sure could use some and I'd be happy to see it, if you wouldn't mind sharing just a bit.
TGIF!

Looking towards the cathedral in the castle with some beautiful flowers in front.
I revisited this chestnut with some newer software. On1 Photo Raw 2022 plus I just downloaded Topaz Adjust AI. Upon checking my account at Topaz, I found out that it was a free upgrade for me from Topaz Adjust. I can never turn down free.
I was going to link my earlier version to this post but realized I had only previously shared the black and white version. So, this is new to all!
Even with all the technological advancements in photo gear, I think this image from my 2009 D90 and 2011 Tamron 70-300 vc holds up pretty well.
Please see www.sculpture.org.uk for information on the artists & how to buy the sculpture. I took these photos because I enjoyed the art & wanted to show other people what goes on at Sculpture at Goodwood. I have no connection with the Cass Sculpture Foundation or the artists.

A funny thing happened on the way to the colosseum.
We had explored around Rome during the day, up to the forum and through the many ancient remains that had been preserved for all to enjoy. It was overcast and a storm threatened throughout the afternoon.
During the early evening the storm had subsided and the lights had been turned on to illuminate the ancient arches with a golden glow and another white spot light caught the top of the second to third tier and top tier lit by smallel floodlights.
Everything came together in this beautiful photograph of the ancient colosseum.
The dark clouds and lighting produced an image similar to HDR.
This image has not been photoshopped. It is one of many of Rome.
What a wonderful result for the engineers or lighting specialists who designed the lighting for this magnificient monument.
Area in Rome: IV Templum Pacis (Latin, "Temple of Peace")
It took its name from the temple built in the region by Vespasian. It includes the valley between the Esquiline and the Viminal hills, the popular area of the Subura (the Roman suburbs) and the Velian Hill (the hill between the Palatine and the Oppian Hill, removed in the early 20th century to make way for the via dei Fori Imperiali, the street passing between the Forum Romanum and the Forum of Augustus).
