On February 12th, we had the first event in our new series of the Secret Pickle Supper Club www.secretpickle.com at Te Aro Roastery & Cafe
A boy learning his father's job in old-fashion gold plating in workshop in old souk of khan khalili, Cairo.
This was our first shot at plating desserts ourselves. We made a lychee-blackberry fruit mousse with a blackberry glacage (top, mirror garnish). I plated with fruit sauces and creme anglaise.
