These two wall plates were produced around 1960 by West German maker Übelacker (Ü-Keramik), to the designs of Ursula Schönhaber. They are each marked with impressed 568/20 and retain the remains of the Ü-Keramik foil label. They were both found in Rochester, Minnesota.

Monkey Park - a charming way to spend a few hours

The charming Monkey Park zoo is situated slightly north of Los Cristianos, just off junction 26 of the TF-1 motorway.

With less financial resource than other major zoos, like Loro Park, this is a touch more modest in its dimensions, but is, nonetheless, a great way to pass a few hours. Children tend to find it particularly appealing.

One for the sad bag club. I collect English Electric plates and have thirty plates of different sizes, shapes, castings and ages. The largest, shown at the top is 27" long. The smallest one a mere 4". EE produced much more than rail equipment and I dare say some of these plates, especially those in good condition, came from other sources other than rail.
