When I was in Oxford back in the late sixties, I lived in Digs and from time to time when my landlady was not around she would leave a "cold dinner plate" in the larder for me. Always good! Confession -- this is not real ice but rather "prop ice" made of acrylic for use in photos and movie sets. For the Smile on Saturday challenge: "Presented on a Plate."

As I took macro photos, the beads reflected the light in the window slats. These clear glass plates with beads on edge were one of few things I inherited from my grandmother.
