Wikipedia: The plain prinia (Prinia inornata), also known as the plain wren-warbler or white-browed wren-warbler, is a small cisticolid warbler found in southeast Asia. It is a resident breeder from Pakistan and India to south China and southeast Asia. This skulking passerine bird is typically found in wet lowland grassland, open woodland, scrub and sometimes gardens. The plain prinia builds its nest in a shrub or tall grass and lays three to six eggs. Like most warblers, the plain prinia is insectivorous. The song is a repetitive tlee-tlee-tlee.
Waited a year to get back to get this spot with an MRL train. Thanks to a year reprieve from the takeover I walked away smiling.

NOLA didn't offer the same finds with wildlife, so I captured what I could find. Domesticated Pigeons was the only find in the city.

Zebras are categorized into three primary species: the mountain zebra, plains zebra, and the elusive Grévy's zebra. Each species exhibits unique features, adapted to different environments across Southern, West, and East Africa.
In all my years of trying to find and photograph the bison herd near Delta Junction Alaska, I had only seen them twice, both times from well over a half mile away. With the Delta River flowing, it was impossible to cross over to get any closer.
In the last month, we have traveled down to see if we could find them four times since first seeing them about 5 weeks ago. Well, we are now 4 for 4 in finding them.
This is my favorite photo of all that were taken. The bull is looking directly at me as it browses on the vegitation. Behind him, about 30 feet away, was a young cow bison. She was laying down resting the entire time we were photographing this bull. I did take a couple photos of her but this guy had my attention. After 7 months of winter, he looked a little lean but very healthy. Who knows, perhaps our next trip will be 5 for 5?
It was dusk on the Monaro High Plains back in 2008, when I stopped to take this landscape panorama. The old gnarled Gum tree was never the subject, but it was the star.
The romantic sounding Monaro High Plain is a tableland, 900 metres above sea level, lying between the Great Dividing Range to the east, and the Snowy Mountains to the west. It is a naturally treeless plain covered in native speargrasses Stipa spp that since its discovery by white explorers in the 1820s has been used for extensive grazing of sheep and cattle.
