My fixed-gear dubbed "pixie" after my bike wreck. It was this color when I bought it for $100 off of craigslist. Nice, eh? The frame is from an early 80 peugeot with carbolite steel.

She'd been in water before, but this was her first swim. She's a real water doggy and we can't keep her out of the water now.

I had this flavor on Friday at the Hawthorne location, and on Sunday at the 3901 N Williams Ave Pix. Sadly, we were too busy to attend the Bastille Day party on Saturday. All the confetti littering the sidewalk Sunday made us wish we'd been able to attend as we surely missed a good time.

Anyway, this ice cream is SO GOOD!

Boston indie-guitar stalwarts Pixies played Oklahoma City's Coca-Cola Events Center in Bricktown Tuesday night, a stop on their "Lost Cities" tour. They played "Doolittle" in its entirety.
