The first Lil' Pixie. She reminds me of some tiny dolls my grandmother made when I was little. Her dress is hand painted roving and her hair is hand dyed using plant dyes.
Pyxidanthera barbulata (Diapensiaceae) in fruit on exposed sand and gravel in the East Plain pygmy forest of the New Jersey Pine Barrens (burned by wildfire 17 May 2007).
Pixie fun. :)
This lovely hat is crocheted in boucle yarn that fades from brown to blue. There is a cute detachable cluster of flowers on the side.
This hat is made in Adult size Small.
Enjoy staying warm while looking magical.
Pixies played "Doolittle" at the Paramount Theatre on November 5, 2011. This was part of the "Lost Cities" tour where Pixies played in places they have never played before.
The Pixie mandarin in mid-December, 2008. To its left is the 'Page' with fruit just beginning to ripen.
...and showing off her new summer cut! Taken by my sister Jackie, who was watching Pixie while Lenny and I were both on work trips out of town.

Pixie was created from the Marx Johnny West Pancho pony. Deb turned her head, added haired mane and tail and painted her to a lovely light grey mare. Here is a beautiful Royal Blue Josie with her pony. I have yet to make Pixie's tack....
Pixies live at Troxy. Not too much to say since they only let me stay for the first few songs :( nonetheless they played Monkey Gone to Heaven and Hey so it's all good for me :)
