Pixies live at Troxy. Not too much to say since they only let me stay for the first few songs :( nonetheless they played Monkey Gone to Heaven and Hey so it's all good for me :)
The Pixies finished off their tour in support of the 20th anniversary of their album Doolittle on May 5th, 2011. At Victoria's Save On Foods Memorial Arena.
Yesterday late afternoon I was working when I happened to glance over to the bed to see if Pixie was still asleep. Sunlight was streaming through the window, and Pixie glowed golden in it. By the time I got my camera, she had awakened (of COURSE she was sleeping - even I have a hard time staying awake while working, sometimes!) and the golden quality of the light had faded, but the light still worked. (Yes, Pixie is the "office dog" - she keeps my nose to the proverbial grindstone, providing necessary self-discipline for this work-at-home thing).

Orange Pixie is a lily and this one was pictured at the Eden Project in Cornwall, south west England.
It could be the national flower for the Netherlands if they weren't so fond of tulips...
Some flowers catch your attention as you walk by them. This one leaps up, grabs you by the throat and says "LOOK AT ME"
