Narrow gauge steam engine "Pixie"on the village sign along with All Saints church.
(Pixie worked with the Cranford Quarry until 1962 when the quarry shut down their railway and had her locked away in a shed. Vicar Rev Teddy Boston www.flickr.com/gp/52219527@N00/2z716n bought her soon after and brought her to work on his Cadeby Light Railway, which he built in the rectory garden

After Rev Boston died in 1986, his widow Audrey continued the operation of the light railway until 2005. Teddy's collection was split up and sold, with Pixie being bought by a private owner associated with the Moseley Railway Trust, who intended on overhauling her.
In July 2019 she was bought by the Richmond Light Railway with the intention to finally finishing her restoration back to operating condition.

Decided to take my 365 this morning (since I usually do them at the end of the day) while my mind and my day was still open to possibilites and free of exhaustion. Ended up being an awesome day. I found out the apartment I've been waiting on will be open for move in next month! I'll be in California and then returning home to pack some more and move into my spot. I can't wait for May :).
PS: How many women make this face while putting on eye makeup? Something about the hand to eye movement makes it happen. Guarantee that if you try keeping your mouth shut while doing it, it just won't turn out the same. Haha.

Recently, pixie hair cuts have become somewhat of a fashion trend with everyone and anyone with the right and wrong face shapes attempting to recreate such a look.
She is still naked, hehe, but Choco missed her and wanted to see her again so here are a couple new photos <3
Lids are first covered with Kryolan's Strauss Wine, applied with a damp brush. Pat MAC's Magenta Madness Pigment all over lids. Create a crease with Tarina Tarantino's Butterfly Black. Blend MAC's V.I.P. eyeshadow into centre of lid, and Baby Petals eyeshadow into inner corner. MAC's Crystal Avalanche is used as a brow and inner eye corner highlight. Blend crease out towards brows.
Apply NYC liquid liner, and mascara is then applied using Rimmel Sexy Curves. Let lashes dry and curl them, applying false lashes of your choice.
Lipstick is Lady Gaga Viva Glam (2).

For the Macro Mondays theme "Line Symmetry."
Pixie likes her photos, but she doesn't like to have the lens pointed at her for very long. Getting a shot this close aimed right at her nose was challenging, and she was very patient while we held her nose steady. She was, of course, rewarded with treats.
Looking at this photo, I found the difference between the large scale linear symmetry and the asymmetry of the fine details interesting.
Post processing: straightened, cropped, and sharpened.
Lighting info:
* Key: SB-28 through a white umbrella directly behind and a little above me. I wanted to make sure that I'd get good coverage with the light no matter how Pixie turned her head.

Washington, DC - Miss Pixie's is a wonderful used furniture and accessories shop in DC where generations of people have found cool, funky, amazing items and given them new life in their homes. We all hope the shop will survive the pandemic. This is a photo of the Miss Pixie car across the street from the Miss Pixie shop, featuring its signature color - you guessed it - pink.
