This is neither a plant nor a mushroom, though when I was a boy it would have been thought to be a kind of plant. It's a lichen. The cups are about a half-centimeter high.
I was out in the rain and three-degree weather today and saw a lot of these. I thought they were probably Cladonia of some sort, but didn't know which until I asked on a local fungi-discussion page. Pixie cup lichen (C. asahinae), it is.
The line of thunderstorms passing over the Aegean Sea on the 10th of September, was quite “generous” concerning its electrical activity. Lightning, red sprites and other TLEs* were captured, but our team also managed to observe and record “pixies” for the first time. “Pixies” are another member of the family of TLEs and look like bluish-violet dots on the anvil of very active thunderclouds. They last for some ms and their diameter is of the order of 1 km.
*TLEs (like red sprites) are upper atmospheric electrical discharges (cold plasma to be precise) and they appear, under specific circumstances, above thunderstorms (e.g. red sprites appear at altitudes of 40-90 km).
For this one, I've used a #Sigma 20 mm lens at f/1.4, for 1/25'' with 40 k iso.

Pixie has derailed on, what was then, the steep slope down from Bryans Loop. From the pictures it would appear that before rerailing commenced the carriages were removed from the train. Whether they were just pulled back to the loop or right back to Stonehenge I can't recall.
According to the LBNGR Archivist, who has checked the Guards' Journals, the most likely date for this incident is 18th July 1976.
Piixe is a Wren class 0-4-0ST, built by Kerr Stuart & Co. in Stoke-on-Trent in 1922 and is their works number 4260

These are made with blank index cards and "bound" with sparkle-y pipe cleaners (that on their own kinda lacked the whimsy I was looking for...) and scrap fabric ties.
It's been three years till the lasts pics of Pixie... I found her so cute, but I'm no very good with BJD pics...
I think my little pixie needs some clothes...
I'm happy that at least I found her some nice undies. These are Kelly panties STRETCHED to their maximum capacity, hehe xD. Does anyone know where to get some proper sized undies? I need to order her some new things ♥

After Rev Boston died in 1986, his widow Audrey continued the operation of the light railway until 2005. Teddy's collection was split up and sold, with Pixie being bought by a private owner associated with the Moseley Railway Trust, who intended on overhauling her.
In July 2019 she was bought by the Richmond Light Railway with the intention to finally finishing her restoration back to operating condition.

Decided to take my 365 this morning (since I usually do them at the end of the day) while my mind and my day was still open to possibilites and free of exhaustion. Ended up being an awesome day. I found out the apartment I've been waiting on will be open for move in next month! I'll be in California and then returning home to pack some more and move into my spot. I can't wait for May :).
PS: How many women make this face while putting on eye makeup? Something about the hand to eye movement makes it happen. Guarantee that if you try keeping your mouth shut while doing it, it just won't turn out the same. Haha.
