I started the garden very late this year so you can see I still have some time before I enjoy a tomato!
This did remind me of a little pixie though!

Happy New Year everyone!
If I'm going to start the new year at all, I'm going to start it creatively. I've been toying with the idea of a 365 for a while, but knowing myself far too well I have a feeling it won't get finished. Thats not very positive thinking, starting the new year. I know I can do it, but life gets in the way sometimes so I'm going to attempt it and see where it gets me. I love the idea of having a year of a body of work showcased on my flickr to see how much I've grown in my craft. The fact that I'm starting on day one of 2015 makes me want to finish this project with all that I have. So for now, lets call it a 365, at least for the month of January ;).

Pixie has derailed on, what was then, the steep slope down from Bryans Loop. From the pictures it would appear that before rerailing commenced the carriages were removed from the train. Whether they were just pulled back to the loop or right back to Stonehenge I can't recall.
According to the LBNGR Archivist, who has checked the Guards' Journals, the most likely date for this incident is 18th July 1976.
Piixe is a Wren class 0-4-0ST, built by Kerr Stuart & Co. in Stoke-on-Trent in 1922 and is their works number 4260

One whole flower.
I normally do a macro of part of the Pixie Mop but decided to show you the whole flower.
Aussie native flower.
I was also on the roof {cleaning out the gutters} when Pixie decided to do some snooping. It pays to have a camera on you at all times !
A couple of weeks ago I posted a story on Instagram featuring the Cornish Pixie from the new Harry Potter sets, asking whether people thought it was cute or creepy. I was leaning towards creepy, but two-thirds of those who responded thought it was cute.
Anyway, Simon sends me a note saying it needs to be a mech. First thought that popped into my head was “That’s your area of expertise”. That would have been the end of that. Instead, I said, “Challenge accepted”.
So, here is my first (and probably last) attempt at a LEGO mech.
