Montreal courthouse, on Notre Dame street. Built by architects David & Boulva, its windows offer interesting reflections of the sky and the clouds, creating an hypnotic effect.

It’s been a long time since I have attempted pixel art; I think the last time I did one was about 15 years ago.
This is a rather recursive picture.
I started with the word Dot on the screen of my PC. I photographed that and loaded it back into the PC and repeated the process.
When viewed Large, it is possible to see that each Pixel is multiple dots ;o)

2023 sure has had a strange weather pattern. Almost a whole month late to our severe weather season here in south central Nebraska. Little would I know that coming weeks I will find what I've been seeking...
This was the first severe storm with a warning to come into play. In actuality there were 2 storms. This first storm was really defined & had some good visual rotation. The storm behind it with the intense hail core would steal all of this first storm's energy....
Supercell in play... what an epic view this storm had to offer!!!

Orange seeds on a green shrub provided the pixels for this symmetrical, repeating pattern I created with filters, Photoshop and a third-party plug-in.

One of the first things I saw after arriving in Brussels, Belgium.
It impressed me somehow, and I like the digital touch it has.

Normally I only post 1 image a day but this day felt more like Christmas, taking delivery of a D800. I was impressed with the wide dynamic range as seen on this single jpeg image (my version of PS raw converter does not support the D800 RAW format yet). This is a morning shot at the Camas National Wildlife Refuge north of Idaho Falls cropped to a square format, the original still maintaining a pixel size of 4457 x 4457 pixels.
Here's a photo from Key Biscayne (the famous lighthouse there) that I took with the Pixel 2 phone. I also got one with my Sony a7R III, but I think I like this one better! I recently released the full review of the Sony a7R III at www.stuckincustoms.com/sony-a7riii-review/ and I sneaked in a Pixel 2 photo in there to see if anyone could tell the difference. No one has so far... It's kind of a fun test, reminding me and (hopefully others) that mobile phones are the clear and present future of almost all photography. By the way, I paid full price for my Google Pixel 2; this is not a paid post or anything! I know I really talk about that phone a lot, but it's right from the heart, yo!
