Brosnan Forest is especially significant because 6,000 acres of its longleaf pine habitat shelter 79 family groups of endangered red-cockaded woodpeckers, making it the world’s largest population of these birds on private property under single ownership. It also includes about 800 acres of fields planted in rye, wheat, oats, and clover as food for wildlife, including non-game and game species, and 120 acres of lakes and ponds stocked with bass, bream, and catfish.
The trail leads to the first sight of the ocean at Whaler's Cove.
The entire length of Carmelo Meadow Trail surface (1,553') was reconstructed recently at Point Lobos State Reserve.

One of my favourite Red Squirrel shots whilst on the NorthShots Winter Wildlife Tour, taken at Neil McIntyre's fantastic site in the Cairngorms National Park.
The warm morning light really brought out the colours of these amazing animals whilst they were enjoying their breakfast. I was lucky enough for this individual to face me head on making for a perfectly symmetrical photo opportunity!

Our last stop on Saturday was into one of the many pine forests found in the Central Tablelands. I found it very hard to shoot because of the strong contrasts and the busy nature of the subject

So today was just a chill day. No school cause of snow but had school the next day. Just spent my day as usual on tumblr and shit. I actually studied for my biology exam! LOL I think I did pretty damn good but I think I failed my theology exam, fml. Lmao, it's all good though.
