This sample was inspired by a collage based on a drawing of pinecones. Small ridges were stitched into calico fabric in regular squares. Repeating the process evenly across the fabric lead to peaks at the corners and gave a very interesting wave-effect

My love for making these unique Christmas ornaments is getting out of hand. Here is a another one of a kind handmade pine cone ribbon ornament to apply a touch of class on any table center piece, glass bowl, hung from tree or where ever your decorating savvy takes you. It would bring an attractive motif to any wedding head table decorations or seasonal decor. Picture brides maids holding with ribbons or hanging as mini pomander, on pews, tables, around napkins and in glass vases or bowls.

i've used some lovely twisting vines to create the wreath (from my sis's back yard!), and sewn fabric acorns, attaching them to real chinquapin acorn tops, along with a real pinecone. the leaf is hand sewn using hand dyed wool and cotton
