European Chub - Leuciscus cephalus (Linnaeus, 1758) [more of this species]
A species most similar to a dace. The main difference is the shape of the anal fin. In the chub they concaved where as in dace they are convexed. Chub also have a larger mouths and the scales have pigmentation only on the edges and not the base, where dace have pigmentation only at the base.
The species has recently been split and now do not include fish in most Mediterranean drainages.

A Day at the Zoo
The white tiger or bleached tiger is a pigmentation variant of the Bengal tiger, which is reported in the wild from time to time in the Indian states of Madhya Pradesh, Assam, West Bengal and Bihar in the Sunderbans region and especially in the former State of Rewa. Such a tiger has the black stripes typical of the Bengal tiger, but carries a white or near-white coat.
The white Bengal tigers are distinctive due to the color of their fur - and are not albinos. The white fur caused by a lack of the pigment pheomelanin, which is found in Bengal tigers with orange color fur. When compared to Bengal tigers, the white Bengal tigers tend to grow faster and heavier than the orange Bengal tiger. They also tend to be somewhat bigger at birth, and as fully grown adults. White Bengal tigers are fully grown when they are 2–3 years of age. White male tigers reach weights of 200 to 230 kilograms and can grow up to 3 meters in length. As with all tigers, the white Bengal tiger’s stripes are like fingerprints, with no two tigers having the same pattern. The stripes of the tiger are a pigmentation of the skin; if an individual were to be shaved, its distinctive coat pattern would still be visible.

I've seen countless House Sparrows but none like this one. She was very unusual in that she was a "Piebald" bird. Piebald or "Pied" is when an animal has some, but not all, Leucistic features. Leucism is when there is reduced pigmentation, not to be confused with albinism. I was unable to get a picture of her in flight but her wings were mostly white as were her outer tail feathers.

A rare bird indeed. Mistaken by many for a Whooping Crane. This bird is a genetic variant, partial albino. It does not get the characterisitc pigmentation in its feathers. Any brownish pigment is picked up from the soil as with all Sandhills. I was lucky enough to see and photograph this bird over several days.
I didn't understand whether this was a mallard or not when I met her a little while ago, but according to information in one of my contact's photos, she's a leucistic mallard, condition that causes reduction in pigmentation.

Watching house sparrows on my bird feeder this afternoon when i saw an unusual bird, a sparrow looking bird with a white colour over most of its head. And so i read, Abnormal pigmentation is usually means there's been a glitch in the bird's genetic processes involved with deposition of pigments when the feathers are being formed but sometimes disease and diet can be factors that interrupt the pigment placement.

The White Tiger is a rare pigmentation variant of the Bengal Tiger. White Tigers are distinct for the normal coloration in that they lack the pheomelanin pigment that in normal tigers produces the orange color. They still produce the pigment eumelanin and hence are not considered albino. Compared to normal tigers without the white gene, White Tigers tend to be somewhat bigger, both at birth and as fully grown adults.
Currently, several hundred White Tigers are in captivity worldwide, with about one hundred being found in India. The last White Tiger ever seen in the wild was shot in 1958.

Food: Algae, artificial aliments with spirulin.
Breeding:No larvae stadium. Female carries round 30 quite big dark green eggs for about 3 weeks.
