From the classic car show back in August.. I didn't get to cover even half of the area but what I was able to get was very interesting... Happy Truck Thursday, Everybody!!!!!!!!!
Taken at the Fastiques Rod & Custom Car Club's Pumpkin Run Nationals car show and swap meet held at the Clermont County Fair Grounds in Owensville, Ohio.
I am pretty sure this is a 1949 model of the Mercury M47 pickup. They were produced and sold mainly in Canada and are basically a Ford with different grille, exterior and interior trim. Mercury M series trucks were produced between 1947 and 1968. They began production after Ford of Canada split its Ford and Linclon/Mercury divisions. Ford Econoline Pickup I really like the exterior of the car, the styling part I made it more wild, the color is black with orange lines, plus the engine configuration and the entire internal drive structure, and the car can be equipped with a minifigures, and the body can be equipped with a Moto.
Taken at the ATHS' Ohio Vintage Truck Jamboree held a the Ashland County Fairgrounds in Ashland, Ohio.
All of the truck shows I try to attend were shut down last year due to Covid. This show is one of the few that are relatively nearby and is scheduled to go on in 2021. I sure hope I can get there this year.
The communiqué simply said “PICKUP: The Rusted Tanker Bar, Arisa Spaceport on Ordranius IV - 13:20 Local Time - Talk to the redhead behind the bar and order a Hodina Sunset, extra sweet, with a Toola Berry on top. She’ll give you what you need. We’ll contact you with the next step after you get the goods.”
Two-bit smuggler Jak Jenner hated cryptic messages. Their instructions were usually way too complicated for his taste. But this job seemed easy enough and the pay was good. Plus so far out from Federation space kept him away from the prying eyes of Space Police. Jak had a few warrants out for his arrest across 4 systems for petty smuggling, so he wasn’t eager to get caught anytime soon.
Here we have Jak picking up “the goods” from the bartender as ordered. Looks like an Solian data crystal. Huh, wonder what information is stored on the crystal that was so important to his employer? Well, it ain’t his problem!

::: Been a while since I posted! This is just a short little series to introduce a new character (and no it isn’t Jak Jenner, you’ll soon find out). Thought it would be fun to do little something different, however this does take place in my “Nova Team” main series, it just doesn’t involved the crew right now. They’ll be back soon enough. As always, comments and thoughts welcomed! Thanks!
I saw this old Fargo Pickup at a show and shine in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta. This is a 1958 Fargo. I really like the boxy, squareness of the front end.
I always thought Ford made Fargo. However, I was corrected by joeinpenticton that it was indeed Dodge. Thanks for the correction Joe...

An abandoned pickup with 4 flat tires. Parked near an abandoned house on highway 80 between Selma and Montgomery, Alabama. Amazing that the door handle looks shiny and new. The back of the truck had the word "International" embossed on the back but I still don't know what brand it is. It looks like a truck from the 1950s. Winner, Red Contest, International Contest Group, April 2010.
The Jeep Gladiator J-Series pickup truck was based upon their Wagoneer model.
This style of grille that spans the width of the front end and resembles an electric shaver head indicates a year model likely from the early 1970s.
Happy Truck Thursday!
1948 Ford F-1 pickup at registration for the 2018 Back to the Fifties car show. Yup, the whole truck was this nice.

Another truck from the Wapato Showdown out in Gaston Oregon.. They have this classic car show every year to help raise money for the Knights of Pythis...Happy Truck Thursday, Everybody!!
My wife found what I believe to be a "French registered", Peugeot 403 pickup in a car park in Fort Road, Newhaven, East Sussex, England on July 7th 2018. This model was produced between 1955 and 1966. 7530 QG 34 sadly appeared to be suffering from corrosion issues. Photograph by Pamela Vallance.
