Preston City Centre has recently benefited from a project to improve Fishergate and Corporation Street thanks to funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), the Growth Deal via the Lancashire Enterprise Partnership, and our own investment.
A new series of three shots I’ve taken recently .. representing phases I go through .. more to a psychological project ..
The series is about light & shadows .. how simple things can give different impressions in the human soul ..
Enjoy ..
:)

...of the Moon,
our lives, our art, our relationships...
the seasons,
belief systems, politics, emotions...
Phases of growth, learning, understanding, loving...
Phases
rooted deep in our souls,
embedded in our memories,
shining in our smiles,
pouring out in our tears.
Phases...
the rhythmic ebb and flow...the pulse of all life.

04/04/2020 21:53 Here is the last phase, after kissing the pleiades Venus breaks away and continues on its trajectory, it will take 8 years to witness this wonderful spectacle of the sky, in this photo consisting of 30 shots taken from the garden of the house, as we see Venus comes out of the field of the open cluster pleiades visible in the constellation of Taurus, quite close (440 light years), leaving behind the nearest stars Atlas and Pleione.

Phaser from Star Trek TOS. Base replica from Wand Co., modifications by Steve Dymszo (SD Studios). Improvements include emitter nozzle and casting of grip from a Master Replicas phaser (more accurate than Wand's). "Tenturn" power setting knob replaced with modern metal DigiKey tenturn with silkscreened markings. More accurate "extra crispy" on phaser one sight plate masks the sound holes. Accurate power meter label added. repainted to more closely resemble how the props appear on television.
Pictured: Recruits being tested on Battlefield Casualty Drills find an 'injured soldier' in a mock-up car accident. They must extract the soldier back to their base.
A series of images taken to replace the imagery at ATR Pirbright. The images depict day to day life and training of Phase 1 recruits.

Atlantic Ocean (Feb. 15, 2005) - An AV-8B Harrier II+, assigned to the 褺ulldogs?of Marine Attack Squadron Two Two Three (VMA-223), prepares for landing over the flight deck aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Nassau (LHA 4). The AV-8B is a high performance, single-engine, single-seat, Vertical/Short Take-off and Landing (V/STOL) attack aircraft. The AV-8B Harrier II+ is capable of night and adverse weather operations due to the addition of the AN/APG-65 multi-mode radar. The fusion of night and radar capabilities allows the Harrier to be responsive to the Marine Air-Ground Task Force's needs for expeditionary, night and adverse weather, offensive air support. Nassau's Air Department practiced handling the Harriers for the phase three landing qualification during a two-week underway period. I didn't grow up with Nintendo. I had a Sega Master System. One of my favorite things about the Sega was the very cool Light Phaser. It seemed very 'Star Trek' and 'laser tag' to me. I only ever had one game that used it (Safari Hunt) but I enjoyed that game, so it all worked out.
