Rock Tumbler 101:

If you like rocks, a rock tumbler may sound like fun. I'm hoping that the end result produces some pretty shiny little gems that we can make stuff out of...because:

1. rock tumblers are LOUD!

2. rock tumblers have 4 phases of cycling that last from 2-4 weeks of constant running...yes, that means constant whirring.

3. rock tumblers aren't expensive but the electric bill may be when you're done

4. did i mention they are LOUD?

August 22, 2019 - I left my house at 4:15 to attend an event and gave the keys to the contractors to lockup. Devin texted me at 7PM to say they were leaving for the day. When I got home this evening I was ecstatic to see that they were finished!

Items left to be completed are the wood trim above the cabinets which will cover the transition between the cabinets and soffit. I am also having another contractor install the subway tile backsplash to cover up the green drywall. I am expecting that installation to take place tomorrow however I haven't heard back from the contractor if tomorrow is a go.

Toni'd only played maybe four times previous and neither Angela nor Pete had played before. We didn't keep track of points, just levels, so it was slightly less competitive than if we'd been playing with pretty much anyone else among those gathered... :p
