The mule stables @ Grand Canyon's Phantom Ranch were empty...hopefully they were avoiding the 110 degree heat that day.

This is the cabin Yvonne and I stayed in the last 2 nights. Phantom Ranch has 11 cabins and some dorms for through hikers. Famous people and former presidents have stayed at Phantom Ranch according to the historical markers there.

On the way out from Leuchars Airshow 1993, decoy aircraft. During scanning my slides in chronological order, I've seen RAF Phantoms in service, then in their swansong with special colour schemes and then this, one step away from the scrapyard. Copied from a slide, using Pentax K20D, extension rings, Rikenon F2 50 mm lens and a slide copier.

A good day, if you are not an artist, but it is still very influential!

London - 14/11/10. Beautiful dark blue Phantom coupe on Sloane street late Sunday night. As i was taking pictures a young arabic guy walked past and asked if he could look at my photos. He seemed like a car guy so i asked him if he had a nice car, he said 'Yes, for me Bugatti, Bugatti Veyron'. Turns out he owns the white Veyron Perle de Sang that was in London this summer. Sadly its currently back in Saudi so i couldnt see it.

Over 5000 Phantoms were produced, serving with more than 30 nations. Problems with the General Dynamics F-111C aircraft ordered by the RAAF in 1963 delayed their delivery, and aging of the Canberra bombers in service necessitated a stopgap measure to fill the void.
