Warner Bros. Studios Tour London - The Making of Harry Potter is a public attraction in Leavesden in southeastern England. It is a permanent behind the scenes exhibit of the Harry Potter films.
The Studio Tour, opened to the public in early 2012. The grand opening event was attended by many of the Harry Potter film series cast and crew members.
Each tour session typically lasting three hours, the studio tour has the capacity to handle 6,000 visitors daily. Despite Warner Bros. being the studio behind Harry Potter, the tour is styled as a theme park, due to the fact that Warner Bros. sold the licence to do so to both Warner Bros. and Universal Studios.
Though the standard tour is self-guided, various guided tours are available at an additional cost.
It only includes sets, props and costumes that were actually created for or used in the production of the Harry Potter film series.
Almost twenty years after the complex was converted from aerodrome to film studios—and over a year since the completion of work on the newly refurbished studios—the site was officially opened by the Prince William and his wife the Duchess of Cambridge on 26 April 2013. On their visit, they were accompanied by the Duke's brother Prince Harry and J. K. Rowling (who had been unable to attend the tour's grand opening the year before), amongst other guests. Several hundred beneficiaries of supported charities were given invitations to the Studio Tour on the day of the visit. The royal entourage visited both the tour and the studios, viewing the props and costumes from Christopher Nolan's Batman films, before conducting the site's inauguration.

Reafirmando seu compromisso de estabelecer diálogo permanente com a população e as categorias no município, a Prefeitura de Contagem realizou, nesta terça-feira (31/8), a terceira reunião da Comissão Permanente de Negociação Coletiva – Copenc com representantes do Sindicato Único dos Trabalhadores em Educação de Minas Gerais – Sind-UTE/MG. A próxima reunião foi marcada para o próximo dia 30 de setembro.
No encontro, o governo apresentou quatro pontos importantes da extensa pauta de reivindicações do Sind-UTE. Destaque para o pagamento da Gratificação de Incentivo à Lotação e Fixação – GILF aos profissionais da educação que atuam em escolas na região de Nova Contagem, a reconstituição da margem de consignação para empréstimos feitos aos servidores e a revogação da suspensão junto à publicação do edital para concurso público da Secretaria de Educação, conforme publicação no Diário Oficial de Contagem- DOC no último dia 6 de agosto.
O secretário de administração, Antônio David de Sousa Júnior, detalha os pontos apresentados. Segundo ele, cumprindo compromisso do governo, foi atendida a solicitação anterior do sindicato e revogada a suspensão do concurso público. “Foi publicado novo edital com cronograma para a realização das etapas do concurso. As primeiras provas serão aplicadas em 3 de outubro, para os cargos de nível superior, e em 24 de outubro para os cargos de nível médio”, disse.
São 18 cargos na área da educação para preenchimento do quadro de trabalhadores das escolas. Os cargos de nível médio são para assistente escolar, auxiliar de biblioteca e secretário escolar. Já os cargos de nível superior são para analista de gestão educacional, assistente de gestão educacional, bibliotecônomo, nutricionista escolar, pedagogo (a), professor (a) de Educação Básica – PEB1, e professor (a) de Educação Básica – PEB 2 (matemática, português, ciências, geografia, história, arte, educação física, inglês e ensino religioso).
Outro ponto igualmente importante, atendendo uma demanda sindical, foi a publicação na semana passada do decreto nº 297, de 26 de agosto de 2021, que reconstitui a margem de consignação para empréstimo aos servidores e estende o prazo máximo de contratação para 120 meses.
Antônio David esclareceu ainda que o pagamento da GILF já foi liberado na folha de agosto dos servidores.
“O pagamento da GILF, é uma gratificação definida por lei e trata-se do pagamento de 10% da remuneração devida aos servidores que prestam serviço nas escolas de Nova Contagem. Essa GILF estava suspensa, e reinterpretando as motivações que levaram à suspensão, a atual gestão entende que este pagamento é devido e voltou a ser pago já no salário de agosto, que caiu em conta hoje, 1º de setembro. Informamos ao Sind-UTE que será realizado o levantamento do passivo dos valores que não foram pagos durante o período em que vigorou a suspensão. Esses valores serão analisados pelo governo e na próxima reunião apresentaremos uma proposta para o pagamento desse passivo”, afirmou.
Auxílio-alimentação
Outro tema abordado na reunião, e que a gestão firmou compromisso, foi a inclusão do pagamento de auxílio-alimentação estendido aos servidores que cumprem jornada de 40 horas com um cargo efetivo acrescido de flexibilização ou contrato temporário que inclui prorrogação de jornada, conforme o secretário de Administração ressaltou.
“Apresentamos uma proposta que vai ser efetivada em 2022, devido aos limites que hoje são impostos ao município pela Lei Complementar Federal nº 173/20. Essa lei impõe limites na expansão de gastos de pessoal, criação de novos benefícios e reajustes de remuneração, dentre outras restrições. Assumimos o compromisso de, no início da legislatura de 2022, apresentar um projeto de lei de autoria do Executivo, para garantir o direito de recebimento do auxílio-alimentação aos servidores da educação que cumprirem jornada de 40 horas. A novidade é que nós vamos assegurar o direito ao benefício para quem cumpre jornada de 40 horas com um cargo efetivo acrescido de uma flexibilização de jornada ou contrato temporário acrescido de prorrogação de jornada. Nosso entendimento é que nesses casos é assegurado o cumprimento da jornada de 40 horas, motivo pelo qual acreditamos que é devido o pagamento a todos esses profissionais e vamos garantir isso em lei para que a partir de então o pagamento possa ser feito”, concluiu.
As questões da gestão previdenciária também foram pauta da reunião. As reflexões e considerações do Sind-UTE foram ouvidas e, em seguida, o tema foi tratado pelos demais participantes da reunião. Os membros do governo reafirmaram o compromisso pela gestão eficiente dos recursos previdenciários, conforme demonstra o Certificado de Regularidade Previdenciária – CRP, expedido pelo Ministério do Trabalho e Previdência e vigente até janeiro de 2022. Também foi noticiado o início dos trabalhos de adesão ao Pró-Gestão – programa que certifica a unidade gestora pelo cumprimento dos critérios de governança, controle interno e educação previdenciária. Ainda, no sentido de avançar na construção de um modelo de gestão mais eficiente, a atual administração apontou para a realização de estudos de viabilidade para a criação do Instituto de Previdência dos Servidores. Por fim, ressaltou-se a boa relação com o Conselho Municipal de Previdência, órgão deliberativo e paritário que zela pelas diretrizes do regime próprio de previdência.
A reunião contou com a presença do secretário de Administração, Antônio David de Souza Júnior; a subsecretária de Recursos Humanos, Érica Mendonça; a subsecretária de Gestão Previdenciária, Elisa Faria; o assessor do gabinete da Sead, Paulo Brescia; a subsecretária de Governo, Sônia Regina, e o assessor da Secretaria de Governo, Fernando Máximo. Também participou a coordenadora-geral da Diretoria Colegiada da Subsede Contagem, Patrícia Pereira; os representantes do Sind-UTE da Subsede de Contagem, Adrieli Bernardes, Andreia Soares, Patrícia Armani; os profissionais da Educação Gustavo Olímpio, Patrícia Nunes, Reginaldo Pereira, além do representante dos trabalhadores do Conselho Previcon, Maurício Fonseca.

The Chain Bridge was the first permanent bridge in Budapest; the nearest bridge was in Vienna and during wintertime the only way to cross the Danube was by taking a ferry. A temporary bridge was only available in the summer: it had to be disassembled each year to protect it against drift ice.
The Chain Bridge, officially known as the Széchenyi lánchíd, is named after count István Széchenyi, the driving force behind the construction of the bridge. After the count missed his father's funeral when the ferry service across the Danube was halted due to bad weather, Széchenyi, a prominent statesman, resolved to build a permanent bridge across the Danube.
Construction
In 1836 Széchenyi asked William Tierney Clark, an English civil engineer, to design a bridge. Clark had the right experience, having already designed two suspension bridges over the Thames: the Hammersmith Bridge in London and the Marlow Bridge. The latter is a similar albeit smaller version of the bridge William Clark would design for Budapest. Construction of the Chain Bridge started in 1842 under the supervision of the Scottish engineer Adam Clark (who was not related to William Clark).
The Bridge
The 375 meter (1230ft) long and 16 meter wide bridge opened on November 20, 1849.
At the time the suspension bridge was the longest in Europe and a marvel of engineering with just two towers supporting the spans with giant iron chains. The chains gave the bridge its name, lánchid, Hungarian for chain bridge.
The beautiful bridge towers are decorated with the Hungarian coat of arms. Imposing stone lions, the work of sculptor János Marschalkó, guard the bridge on either side. According to legend, the sculptor threw himself in the river when, during the bridge's opening ceremony, a spectator proclaimed that the lions had no tongues. In reality the lions do have tongues (they're just not easily visible) and the sculptor lived on for several more decades.
