Pendleton, IN. - What a day! What a day Christmas was. Christmas in Pendleton, Indiana that is. From early Saturday morning with the crowing of the Pendleton Snow Princess, the measuring of what is probably a record snow by Parade Grand Marshall, Alicia Roman of WISH-TV and then toward evening with the Christmas Tree Lighting and caroling, the entire town of Pendleton was filled with children, parents, and shoppers for a day that will be long remembered by all.

So, you start petting the dog and eventually, you stop. The dog does not consent, however. He gives you this blank stare (see above) and then lays a gigantic paw on your lap until you commence petting again.
