Celebrating 100 years of Round Up

Rainbow Cafe, a popular hangout for Pendletonians and a home to the Irish. It's well known for it's St. Patrick Day celebrations!! It also appears to be a very popular landmark for photographer buffs.

This log cabin was built in 1935 by the Civilian Conservation Corps for the Boy Scouts.

It's currently being renovated(not by Salkehatchie).

Early in the Pendleton Street Baptist Church building's history, the situation contributed to the growth of the congregation:

Try to visualize land on the east side of Markley Street where it meets Pendleton Street1 as a farm with a two-story residence centering it. Other homes in the area had already become a well defined community on the west side of the Reedy River. Before the time of motor vehicles, that area was a long way from the First Baptist Church of Greenville at its West MacBee Avenue address.2

Pendleton, NC - Originally known as Woodward's Crossroads until renamed to honor a rail employee on the first train that passed through the area. Established around 1887, incorporated in 1893.

Once the home of E.M. Temple. Constructed in 1900.

Folsom brothers had this building specially built for their mortuary business. It was called the Folsom Funeral Chapel, later became Folsom-Bishop Funeral Chapel and then to Bishop Funeral Chapel and now is under new ownership and renamed Pioneer Funeral Chapel. In front of the chapel is a memorial to those who lost their lives in the foreign wars.
