I got these at the Pendleton Woolen Mill Store here in Portland - $2.40 for about 55 of these, cut to 8.5 x 10.5.

We stopped at Pendleton Woolen mills, I bought 22 yards of 100% wool fabric for $95. The darker gray plaid had a flaw in it so it was $3.99 a yard and 40% off that...I bought 10 yards.

Pendleton Center of the Arts

Smith/Pendleton Residence/Studio

Architect: Ned Sawyer

Year: 1981

Ned Sawyer designed this home in 1981 for Dr. Dubrow and his artistic wife, Gail. The H-shaped plan features a central atrium and was designed around mature trees already on the vacant site. Careful placement of glass minimizes solar heat gain while maximizing privacy. The triangular conversation pit is a big attraction at parties. The large studio with greenhouse-style northern light is any artist’s dream. The home is now owned by an architect/artist couple. Improvements include a new deck and art in the atrium. The home features art by Nancy Pendleton, Alan Hochman, Otto Rigan, Gary Slatter, Sherri Belassen, Frank Iberra, Many Ann Kalinsky, Joe Ray and James Cook.

Indian Village at the "Let er Buck" 100th Year Anniversary Round Up & Rodeo in Pendleton, Oregon

East end of the Pendlton River Parkway is the Union Pacific RR picnic shelter. It looks out over the fork of the Umatilla River and Wildhorse creek. An old railroad bridge once crossed the river at this point. Part of the tracks were laid in concrete and serves as the floor of the shelter. Great Blue Heron nesting trees can be seen in the background.

First EVER pic of Salford for 2009! ;)
