"You don't want to play games on your phone" said Britt.

"We have some better games for you " laughed River.

The setting sun peers through from between the supports, as seen recently from the pier in Huntington Beach, California.

Nice to view a Pier, but better to hold one's own with one's peers.

I've taken most of my capture of Steetley Pier from the confines of the beach. This one is a little different as it captures the pier from above, looking straight along the top platform. Hence the play on words for the title.

At an earlier point this top area was accessible and was used by many local anglers.

Due to the deterioration of the pier, a section was removed, which now prevents access.

The setting sun casts a nice pink glow across the sky and the Long Exposure blends the clouds nicely.

At last, sunsets worthy of being captured.

This wee Jumping Spider was peering intently at me.

During my travels on hundreds of miles of country roads, I have witnessed countless former farm sites that now only sport one reminder of lives once lived on this particular location. Sometimes it is a barn, a silo or some other smaller outbuilding like this one. As my mother and father aged, they often mourned the passing of former classmates until one day they too were gone.

For the new Eyes of March group.

Hard drive clean up. I thought I'd posted this one before but couldn't find.

Underneath Deal pier, Kent during the blue hour

Inspired by Hal's F-unit Friday entry, I've posted by own VIA FPA4 No. 6790 picture, from 27 June 1981. Peering from behind the CN depot in Brockville, the classic curves of the cab unit are complemented by the Camaro in the parking lot. The AMC Pacer, not so much...

The Windows during the late blue hour. It was such a fun time being at this location after sunset.
